Ekiti State Deputy Governor, Chief (Mrs) Monisade Afuye, has congratulated the State’s First Lady, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, on her elevation to the rank of Professor of Educational Management.
In a congratulatory message issued in Ado-Ekiti by her Director of Press, Mr Tope Ariyo, Afuye said she was not surprised that the First Lady achieved such a feat despite the heavy demands of her office.
She described Oyebanji’s dexterity, diligence and commitment to duty as rare and second to none.
“No one who is close to her would be surprised. She is like a cat with nine lives: very diligent, intelligent, dexterous and courageous. I congratulate my boss, the Governor, and the entire Oyebanji family on this landmark achievement. Ekiti is lucky to have such a vibrant and charming woman as First Lady,” the Deputy Governor said.
The Deputy Governor also described the First Lady as an exemplary leader, noting that her achievement is a milestone that will inspire girls across the state to live more purposeful lives.
